Rapid Education enjoyed a record-breaking year at BETT 2014, the UK's leading technology in education show. With programming and coding set to become part of the National Curriculum in September for children from the age of 5, there was huge interest in our products, especially the VEX and VEX IQ robotics platforms.
As
Paul Barran, Rapid Education's Business Development Manager, said: “VEX and VEX IQ are
perfect solutions as they teach programming and design through the C and Autodesk
packages. At Rapid we pride ourselves at staying at the cutting edge of
technology for schools and giving something back with our work co-ordinating
and supporting national competitions."
"It
was great to see so many of our existing customers and potential new ones over
the course of the four days, and check out some of the incredibly exciting
things that are happening in educational tech."
Here are some images and tweets from our time at the show.
